ABEL GARCIA

Abel Garcia, now based in Naples, FL, is a dynamic artist who has been redefining the art world for over fifteen years. His unique urban style seamlessly blends graffiti-inspired elements with traditional art concepts, creating visually arresting works that pulse with energy and vivid color. Garcia’s signature layering technique is evident across his large-scale paintings, murals, and live artworks, utilizing mediums such as acrylic paint, graffiti markers, and spray paint. His infectious enthusiasm and passion for color are encapsulated in his motto: “Why sleep whenyou can paint?” Abel Garcia’s impressive roster of clients includes prominent figures and organizations such as Dallas Cowboys legends Emmitt Smith, Dak Prescott, Jay Novacek and Ezekiel Elliott; “Air Jordan” designer Justin Taylor; The Dallas Mavericks; FC Dallas; Toyota Connect; Jack Daniel’s; professional boxer Austin Trout; UFC fighter Ocho Peterson; and many more. His works are featured in luxury high-rises like Plaza Saltillo, W Hotel Residencies, and 12 Cowboys Way in Dallas and Austin, as well as in numerous murals across Irving, Austin, and various neighborhoods in Dallas. His art has been showcased in Dallas, Austin, Atlanta, Las Cruces, Santa Fe and New York City, earning him the title of Austin’s “Visual Artist of the Year” in 2011 and he was the featured artist in the citywide Las Cruces Art Festival in 2020. In 2023, Abel was awarded the Don Julio Tequila “Por Amor” grant supporting artists of Hispanic heritage. Committed to giving back, Abel actively supports his hometowns of Dallas, TX, and Las Cruces, NM, along with numerous charities and      non-profits including The Warren Center, The Birthday Party Project, Operation Rock the Troops, The John Paul Taylor Center, Jardin de los Niños, the Tortugas Pueblo Indians, the Dona Ana Arts Council, The MVP (Merging Vets and Players)
